Overview

Resident at the door of her apartment.From the time Adams House opened its doors in 1898 at 1168 Highland Avenue, Fall River, MA it has offered a comfortable and safe haven for needful seniors of advancing age in need of a place to live.

Adams house still carries on the proud tradition established by the founders back in 1891.  Sensitivity for the dignity of the past and the grace of a fine tradition abounds.  The prevailing atmosphere is that of a true home, of a family living in peace and affection.

The type of services residents of Adams House have received over the years has changed, but the mission remains the same – excellence in standards of care and respect for the individual in an atmosphere that is a true home.  Adams House provides gracious nursing care for elders in need of 24 hour supervision and personal health care. Life at Adams House continues to be a time for personal enjoyment, growth and achievement.  There are regular social, reading, music, garden activities and exercise programs as well as planned excursions.

Residents at Adams House are not merely cared for by a well trained, nurturing and qualified nursing and supportive staff, but they are made to feel that they belong ... that Adams House is “their” home.
